5. Netkiller Barcode Scanner 2.0 Spreadsheet

The netkiller Barcode Scanner 2.0 Google Spreadsheet is automatically created when the creator of a form clicks [Complete and Save]. This officially publishes the form and the NBS spreadsheet is generated on the Gmail account’s Google Drive

5.1 Locating your Spreadsheet

 

To properly locate the spreadsheet, make sure you are looking on the same Gmail account you were logged onto when the form was designed. To check the centralized Google Spreadsheet form you just created, go to your Google Drive and locate “Netkiller Barcode Scanner_2.0”.

 

 

5.2 Rename Sheet

 

To rename your Netkiller Barcode Scanner_2.0 spreadsheet, simply click on the Google Spreadsheet title and rename the sheet to fit your purposes.

5.3 Sheet Tabs

 

The Netkiller Barcode Scanner_2.0 Google Spreadsheet has asset tabs at the bottom.

 

  1. Barcode Scanner tab

    Once you have opened the spreadsheet, click the “Barcode Scanner” tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet to view your textfield titles. Once users begin scanning items and submit the forms via mobile, the information will automatically be inputted and updated onto the Google Spreadsheet.

























     

  2. History Tab

    The “History” tab displays all initial scans and repeated scans with updated information. A record of all scanned items is stored in the History tab. Under the “Action” column, new barcode numbers to the system are inputted as “Insert” on the initial scan. Once a barcode is rescanned, the system will detect it as an existing item and it will be inputted as an “Update” action. The history tab displays a much more detailed tracking report of scans in comparison to the Barcode Scanner tab.
